The numbers
Two same-labelled lights can perform worlds apart. The difference is in the LED chip, the charge controller, and whether the wattage on the box is real.

Cheap lights pack the housing with tiny 2835 chips and label the count as wattage — 100 chips sold as "100 W". The real draw is a fraction of that.

Oversized panel
The mono-crystalline solar panel is rated higher than the luminaire it feeds. After a cloudy day or two the battery still carries the light through the night — two full nights of autonomy by design.
Safe lithium
Lithium iron phosphate batteries — long cycle life, stable across a wide temperature band, and certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards.
Smart charging
The MPPT charge controller harvests over 95% of available solar energy — far ahead of the ~80% PWM controllers that fail within a year or two.
True output
Larger 5050 SMD LEDs with EMC protection deliver 140–160 lm/W of genuine, rated light — wide 120°/145° coverage with no dark patches.
Sealed & rated
Dust-tight, jet-water rated die-cast aluminium, with reverse-polarity, short-circuit, low-voltage and over-temperature protection built in.
Approved supply
MNRE and BIS-approved mono-crystalline panels, automatic dusk-to-dawn operation, and a 5–7 hour charge in good sunshine.
The complete solar street light carries a 3-year warranty, extendable to 5 years. The mono-crystalline solar panel, the LiFePO4 battery and the MPPT controller each carry their own component warranty — ask us for the current terms on the model you're specifying.
